WHERE TO SOW
In boxes or pots in a greenhouse at 20-24°C. Spacing seeds 2cm apart and lightly cover with compost. Cover the container with glass or polythene after gently watering to retain the humidity.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
As soon as seedling leaves have opened, prick off into 10cm pots, and finally transplant into growing position 45cm apart when first truss of bloom is showing. If growing outside, gradually harden off before planting out when all danger of frost has passed.
