
Suffolk Herbs Bergamont Mixed
Bergamot (Monarda didyma) has showy flowers in shades of pink/purple which is ideal for flower borders, and can then be dried and used in pot pourri. The leaves have a citrus tang to them and make delightful teas. Bergamot grows to about 60cm (24").
Bergamot goes well with oranges so would make an unusual addition to your home made marmalades.
This herb is also perfect for pollinators such as bees, hence the other common name, Bee Balm.
