Kings Seeds Tomato Gigantomo F1
Gigantomo tomatoes are possibly the largest tomato available. These seeds can produce gigantic tomatoes that weigh between 700g - 1kg in weight, and even larger recorded by specialist growers! These huge beefsteak tomatoes have an excellent flavour and texture, and a single fruit can be sliced to feed the family. Due to the size, they're easy to slide and perfect for frying. (Thinning the number of fruits per truss is advisable to achieve mega fruits).
When to Sow Gigantomo Tomato Seeds
January to April
Where to Sow
Sow the tomato seeds under glass 0.5cm (1/4in) deep in pots or trays of good seed sowing compost and lightly cover with a sprinkling of vermiculite or compost. Place containers in a propagator at a temperature of 18-21C.
What to do Next
Prick out seedlings, once large enough to handle, into 9cm (3 1/2in) pots. Transplant to the greenhouse border soil, or individual large pots, or 3 plants per growbag when 20cm (8in) high.
