
Kings Seeds Pepper Chilli Havana Gold
Early open habit plants produce an abundant crop of rich orange, crisp, thin fleshed, chillies; quite mild with a rich, complex flavour. Excellent for eating fresh when the flavour can be really appreciated or can be dried to make a tasty chilli powder which can be used as a general condiment alongside salt and pepper.
Chilli plants grow to around 70cm tall.

Where to Sow
Sow seed on the surface of a free draining compost in pots or trays and cover with a fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite and place at a temperature 18-21C until seeds germinate.
What to do next
Prick out seedings when large enough to handle into 7cm (3in) pots and grow on under glass. Once plants reach 10cm (4in) high transplant into growbags or 25cm (10in) pots and grow on under glass. Feed once a week with tomato fertiliser once first fruits have set.
Handy Tip
Can be grown in containers, move outside to a patio once all risk of frost has past. In autumn move back undercover to ripen any remaining fruits.
