Country UF Ash Stainless Steel Border Spade FYD Ash Handle

A garden essential especially for the smaller gardener and for confined spaces. Narrower than a standard digging spade it’s great for use in borders in and around plants where soil and root disturbance needs to be kept to a minimum. These tools feature the longer stronger Lipped Socket. The main benefit of this socket is that it allows the wood a degree of flex whilst offering support and increasing the strength of the tool. It’s also longer than usual, again adding strength but also means less bending is required. All these tools feature our sustainable Ash handles, the digging tools have filled YD Ash handles which offer great comfort and support as well as completing the traditional feel and look. The heads are made with a high carbon content mirror polished stainless steel for strength as well as offering minimal soil adhesion.
